Welcome to the Great Otway Gravel Grind

21 FEBRUARY 2021

Ride a magical line through the Otway Ranges

When it comes to gravel grinding this is A-grade riding on A-grade dirt roads made accessible to all types of riders.

Escape the asphalt and dig-the-dirt of traffic free roads as they wind through tall timber forests and massive tree fern, past lookouts, lakes and beaches on a magical ride with plenty of fresh air.

Now in its 5th year, the GOGG is fast gaining recognition as one of Australia’s best gravel events. Join us in 2021.

  > Spectacular dirt roads with no traffic
  >> Time-out Zones and coffee stops
  >>> Suitable for all types of bikes – road, MTB, gravel & cyclo-cross riders.

The GOGG is held in conjunction with the Otway Odyssey MTB Marathons (on Saturday) making an incredible double header weekend for any rider.

COVID AWARE: Rapid Ascent is very aware of the COVID-19 situation and are staying up to date with relevant authorities, regulations and the road-map to re-opening.
We are confident the Great Otway Gravel Grind will go ahead as planned in 2021 (and in line with associated COVID Safe proceedures). Our approach has always been to pursue every oppportunity for the event to be able to go ahead and to give the mountain biking community a chance to achieve their goals in what has been a roller coaster year.
